MEET "ELLIE"
Meet our full time home – “Ellie”. Our off the grid motorhome, full time adventure seeker, and first home that we ever bought. We’ve been across the USA, traveled through mountains, valleys, dirt roads and deserts, pushing the almost 40 foot ladyhome to the limits. Constantly a work in progress, she’s always getting updated, upgraded and customized to become our ultimate “home on the road” vehicle.
“Ellie” is made by THOR motor company, and her official model name is Outlaw 37MD. She’s almost 40 feet long, 8 feet wide (with slides in), boasts a full kitchen, plenty of sleeping space, and a garage (or in our case, a studio). We purchased her in 2014 from LazyDays in Jacksonville, FL – after months of planning, research and downsizing (read about “RVing For Newbies“). We’ve been full timers since 2014, and haven’t looked back.
